Is this you?
If you or your tool visited one of our decoy apps, this page explains what that was, what we recorded and how to have it deleted. A decoy has a privacy notice at /privacy.html.
What the decoys are
Fake apps run by Mithos Limited for security research. They hold fake data only and cannot reach anything real. We never strike back at a visitor.
What we recorded
- The time, the page asked for, and the response.
- The browser or tool family, such as “curl” or “chrome”.
- A shortened network address (the last part removed) and a code that changes every week.
- We do not keep full addresses, cookies or anything that was sent to us.
Remove or object
Because we keep only a shortened address and a weekly code, we usually cannot tell which records are yours. To object or ask us to delete records, email info@mithos.co.uk with the shortened network range and roughly when you visited, and we will remove matching records. All records are deleted after 90 days anyway.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). More in our privacy notice.
