Terms of use
These terms apply when you use BlueSwarm. By creating an account or running a test you agree to them.
Last updated 26 October 2026.
1. What the service does
BlueSwarm offers AppGuard (read-only tests of apps you own), SwarmWatch (alerts about groups of similar visitors), AgentGate (rules for what AI agents may do) and optional fix drafts. It helps you find and understand problems. It does not tell you that anything is free of problems, and it does not replace your own review, testing or advice.
2. Only test what you own or may test
You may add an app only if you own it or have the owner’s written permission to test it. We ask you to prove ownership first and check it again before every scan. You confirm that you have the right to authorise testing, and that doing so does not break any agreement you have with a hosting or other provider. You are responsible for who you add to your organisation.
3. How the tests behave
Scans send read-only requests, at a limited rate, and identify themselves in your logs. The rules are on our How we test page. Testing can still cause load or appear in your logs and alerts, and you accept that. We never use admin or third-party keys we find, and we do not keep your data.
4. Results and fixes
Results show what we could reach at the time and may be incomplete or wrong. A fix we suggest or draft is a starting point. You must review it and test it before you use it, and you decide whether to merge or apply it. We draft changes only on a separate branch.
5. Your data
What we keep and for how long is in our privacy notice. For SwarmWatch, you decide what traffic data is sent to us and you must have a lawful basis for sending it. We process it only to provide the service to you.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to test things you do not own, to attack or disrupt anyone, to avoid our limits, to reverse-engineer it, or to resell it without our agreement. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Researchers also agree to the researcher rules shown when they join, and their access can be ended or given an end date.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. Some features are early and may change or be withdrawn. We will update these terms when needed and show the date above. Continuing to use the service means you accept the update.
8. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we provide the service as it is, we are not responsible for losses that we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for loss of profit, data or business, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by email. We can end or suspend access if you break these terms.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can decide any dispute, unless the law of where you live says otherwise.
